HI all,
Today I was a bit confused on how to get the latest update in technical preview. If you get in to such a problem, this might help you.. I think!
I saw news that latest build released with Cortana and some other features, when i checked my laptop to see that, I was not able to find it. I tried opening Windows update and clicking 'Check For Updates'. But still i was out of luck!
I tried searching in google and other search engines, how to get. But cant find any result giving me a solution. So once i found out how to do this, i thought i will write it here.
Ok, So if you have such a problem the reason is..
You might set the preview build downloading as 'Slow'. If you set as slow means you wont be getting the builds once it is published but once it is supposed to be stable. That means the build you use will be less prone to errors .
But if you are too excited to get the latest update once it is released, you can change this to 'Fast'
See the below screenshot
Once you set to Fast, you can click the Download and it will start downloading the latest build for you. Wait until it finish.
Later it will start installing
And it will ask for a restart
Here you go, the latest update is ready to use.
